Gunnar Nylund was hired as the artistic head of Rörstrand in 1932. He was to usher in an era of stoneware works of unsurpassed quality. He included in the porcelain tradition factory different vases and bowls made in stoneware with modern shapes and matte glaze and feldspar are highly coveted among ceramic collectors today.
