Two coloured earthenware table lamp designed by Aksel Larsen and manufactured by Axella Design. Denmark, 1960s.

This lamp has a beautiful contrast of sand and brown colours and a porous texture that gives it a unique rustic character.

Condition:

This lamp is in perfect condition, but may show some signs of age. The shade has been restored in matte white cotton and the electric system works perfectly.

About the designer:

Aksel Larssen founded his own ceramic workshop ‘Axella’ in the 1960s, and his lighting pieces were the highlight of his production.Each piece was handmade by the designer himself, so each one has its own imprint and characteristics.
