About the designer:
Jonas Bohlin is a Swedish designer and architect known for breaking away from traditional Scandinavian functionalism. Trained at Konstfack in Stockholm, he gained recognition with his 1981 graduation project: the “Concrete” chair, which challenged the aesthetic and material conventions of its time. Bohlin has worked across furniture, lighting, interior design, and conceptual art, and his work is marked by a constant tension between the poetic and the utilitarian. He has maintained a close collaboration with the Swedish editor Källemo, renowned for supporting experimental designs with strong expressive character.
