Wrought iron candlesticks produced by Bengt Gustafsson for his own workshop. Signed ”BENGT GUSTAFSSON” on the bottom. Sweden 1960s/70s

This set of candlesticks stands out for the raw use of the material, being handmade, each one is unique and shows traces of the design process, such as bumps, slight deformations, etc. This, added to their slender proportions and anthropomorphic features, create a set of marked sculptural character.

Condition:

Excellent vintage condition, with signs of age. Unique patina of the wrought iron, with some scratching.

Dimensions:

Heights between 34 – 38 cm. The diameter of the base is 10 cm.
