Brass floor lamp designed by Hans-agne Jakobsson for Markaryd AB. Sweden, 1960’s. Adjustable lampshade and round foot in brass in a very good vintage condition.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer. He was famed for his lighting designs which utilize unique angles and materials to create a soft quality of light. His most iconic lampshades are opaque and ribbed to distribute ribbons of light. He founded his own company after being apprentice of the designers Carl Malmsten and Werner West.
